Anthony J. “Skip” Cimino Speaks on Importance of Voting to AFSCME Council 63
On September 16, Anthony J. “Skip” Cimino, Senior Managing Director of Stevens & Lee Public Affairs, was invited to speak before the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees’ (AFSCME) Council 63, an AFL-CIO designated union for approximately 20,000 state workers and other public employees in New Jersey — one of the largest in the country.
Mr. Cimino spoke to the union members, and 150 of their leaders, on the importance of voting and unity. His insights and remarks focused on reminding union members about the most powerful form of political currency – votes. Mr. Cimino emphasized that voting is what it takes to get things done in the Garden State and how to make legislators not only listen, but to act.
